This presentation explains the microfilm digitization process and demonstrates how to browse the WHS's collection (and others) of Wisconsin newspapers.
In this Prime Time Plus Club seminar, you can learn how to navigate information from past newspapers to find a wealth of knowledge on many topics you may want to learn more about, now that you have the time.

The Wisconsin Historical Society has been collecting local newspapers since its founding in 1846, and now houses one of the largest collections in the country. This presentation briefly explains the microfilm digitization process, then demonstrates how to browse the Society’s collection (and others) of Wisconsin newspapers.

The presenters are Randi Ramsden, project manager at the National Digital Newspaper Program, and John Friend, microfilm lab manager at the Wisconsin Historical Society.
